Concert ‘Sounds of Water’
On the 14th of February we will perform in the Junushoff! The theme of this project is ‘Sounds of water’. We would love to share our repertoire with you! See you at the theatre?
Concert: Embers in the Storm.
Prepared to be blown away? We will perform a musical storm in the amazing location of Theater Junushoff! Don’t be afraid you will get soaked, there will be some funky and royal songs that shine like an ember.
Concert: Out of the Shadow
Veya will bring some light during the darker days by singing for you again on the 15th of December. This time we will have not one, but two concerts! We hope to see you at the Arboretumkerk in Wageningen.
26-08-2023: New Project!
Hope you all had a wonderful summer! We will back with our Open Rehearsal on September 5. Conductor Tom Erics will be returning this project.

09-06-2023 Final Performance Announcement
We will be having our final performance on June 30th at the Arboretumkerk! Our theme this project is “Change” and with our conductor Koos, we will explore the theme through a variety of beautiful songs that we’re super excited to share with you.
Doors open at 19:30 and the concert start at 20:00. Tickets are €7.79 and €4,79 for students. Can’t wait to share our repertoire with you!

27-04-2023 Kingsday Mid-project Performance
On Kingsday 2023, we were at the Wageningen vrijmarkt singing serenades to the public! We stood in a circle and allowed our voices to surround our audience. It was a ton of fun performing the acapella songs of our new repertoire for the first time!
We will be having our official final concert on June 30th — excited to see you there!
01-01-2023 Open rehearsal on the 10th of January!
New year, new project! Together with conductor Koos van Eijk we will be working on a new project from January till June. Curious? Join our open rehearsal on the 10th of January!
30-11-2022 Concert at the 16th of December!
We'd love to welcome you at our concert on the 16th of December in the Arboretumkerk in Wageningen. We will perform together with vocal group Revolt, which fits the theme 'hand-in-hand' perfectly. The online ticket sale is open now! After the concert there is the opportunity to chat with the singers while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.
18-11-2022 Concert at the Pieter Pauw
Last week we performed at nursing home Pieter Pauw in Wageningen. Very exciting to show our new repertoire for the first time. Soon we will share it with you all. Save the date, because the 16th of December will be our official concert!
06-09-2022 Open Rehearsal!
Currently we're having summer holidays, but in September we will start singing again. Want to join? Sign up for our open rehearsal, to find out if singing in a choir is something for you. Send an email to veya.wageningen@gmail.com and we will make sure you get all the information you need.
The week afterwards (13-09-2022) we will have auditions, after which we will start regular rehearsals. We will be singing until Christmas, planning on a festive concert before the Christmas holidays!
12-02-2022 Concert at the BBLTHK on the 10th of June!
On Friday the 10th of June we will give two concerts in de BBLTHK in Wageningen. Under the lead of Tom Erics we will sing a varied repertoire with the theme "Celebration". After two years without the ability to share our music, we are ready to celebrate the magic of music together with you!
We will give two concerts of one hour each; one at 19.00h and one at 20.45h (walk in 18.45h & 20.30h). The concerts are identical and allow as many people as possible to enjoy the music. A ticket price is €5 (€3,50 for students) and there is the opportunity to chat with the singers afterwards while enjoying a drink.

12-02-2022 Little concert for ourselves and the people at the market square
Saturday we had the last rehearsal of our autumn/winter project. It has been a strange half-year, switching between online and IRL rehearsals. After practicing our repertoire inside, we continued our singing at the sunny market square of Wageningen (see videos below). How nice to sing together and to be able to share our music with others!
After a short break, we will start the new spring/summer project on the 22nd of February.

22-06-2021: New project in September?
We hope to be able to start singing again after summer. If possible, open rehearsals will take place in the beginning of September. We will keep you posted!
20-02-2021: Spring Singing Sessions
Even though we can’t get together at the moment, we want to keep on singing. Currently we organise online sessions on Wednesday at 20.00h. The video below gives you a little preview of these sessions. We will start every session by warming up the body and voice and learn a bit about techniques. Also, our conductor Tom has a loop station, which enables us to sing along with polyphonic arrangements (world music and pop songs).
You can join us for 4 sessions of 1h for €15-20,- (depending on number of subscriptions). As long as we are restricted to online sessions, we will decide to continue these sessions month by month, until we can meet in real life again.
